Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, welcomed by our representative. Transfer to your hotel and check in. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing
After breakfast, start your day with a visit to Pashupatinath Temple. Explore Boudhanath Stupa, a central figure of Tibetan Buddhism. Visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, featuring Hanuman Dhoka Palace and Kumari Ghar.
Drive to Swyambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), perched on a hilltop with panoramic views of the valley. Spend the afternoon exploring Thamel, Kathmandu’s vibrant shopping district. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 3: Bhaktapur & Patan Durbar Square
After breakfast, visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue to Patan Durbar Square known for its intricate wood carvings. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 4: Drive to Chitwan
After breakfast, check out and drive to Chitwan (150 km, approx. 4-5 hours). Upon arrival, check in at your resort and receive a briefing on jungle activities. After lunch, take a walking tour of a local Tharu village. Overnight in Chitwan.
Day 5: Chitwan Jungle Activities
After breakfast, enjoy a full day of jungle activities including Jungle Nature Walk: Discover Chitwan National Park's diverse ecosystems. Bird Watching: Spot exotic birds in their natural habitat. Elephant Safari or Jeep Safari: Get a closer look at the unique wildlife. Canoe Ride: Enjoy a serene glide along the Rapti River. In the evening, experience a Tharu Cultural Dance Show. Overnight in Chitwan.
Day 6: Drive to Lumbini
After breakfast, check out and drive to Lumbini (165 km, approx. 5-6 hours). Check in at your hotel and enjoy leisure time. Overnight in Lumbini.
Day 7: Lumbini & Kapilvastu Tour
After breakfast, explore Lumbini Sacred Garden, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit significant sites such as Maya Devi Temple, Puskarini Pond, Ashoka Pillar, and the Eastern and Western Monastic Zones.
After lunch, drive to Kapilvastu, the ancient hometown of Lord Buddha, and explore its archaeological sites. Overnight in Lumbini.
Day 8: Drive to Pokhara via Tansen
After breakfast, check out and drive to Pokhara (approximately 200 km, about 6-7 hours). En route, visit Tansen, a charming hill town renowned for its traditional Newari architecture and panoramic views.
After enjoying lunch in Tansen, continue your scenic drive to Pokhara. Check in at your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the evening at leisure, appreciating the picturesque lakeside ambiance. Overnight in Pokhara.
Day 9: Sarangkot Sunrise & Pokhara City Tour
Early morning, drive to Sarangkot to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the Annapurna Himalayas. After sunrise, visit Bindabasini Temple, a well-known Hindu shrine in Pokhara.
After breakfast, embark on a full day of sightseeing, which includes World Peace Pagoda: A symbol of peace and harmony. Pumdikot: Known for a tall statue of Lord Shiva with stunning views of Pokhara Valley and Fewa Lake. Davis Falls, Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, and the Tibetan Refugee Camp.
In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing boat ride on Fewa Lake. Spend the evening exploring the vibrant Lakeside area. Overnight in Pokhara.
Day 10: Hike to Australian Camp/Dhampus
After breakfast, drive to Kande (approximately 1 hour). Start your hike to Australian Camp and Dhampus (approximately 4-5 hours), where you can enjoy spectacular views of the Annapurna Range. Experience local village life and culture in Dhampus. Overnight in Dhampus/Australian Camp.
Day 11: Sunrise at Dhampus & Trek to Phedi back to Pokhara
Early morning, enjoy the beautiful sunrise over the Himalayas from Dhampus. After breakfast, trek down to Phedi (about 1-2 hours). From Phedi, drive back to Pokhara and check in at your hotel.
Spend the evening at leisure, perhaps revisiting favorite spots or relaxing in your hotel. Overnight in Pokhara.
Day 12: Drive Back to Kathmandu
After breakfast, check out and drive back to Kathmandu (approximately 200 km, around 6-7 hours). Check in at your hotel and enjoy some leisure time or do some last-minute shopping.
In the evening, indulge in a traditional Nepalese cultural dinner with live dance performances at Bhojan Griha. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 13: Departure from Kathmandu
After breakfast, enjoy some free time for last-minute shopping or relaxation in Kathmandu. Transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
