Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, greeted by our representative. Transfer to your hotel and check-in. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 2: Full Day Tour in Kathmandu Sightseeing
After breakfast, visit Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most sacred Hindu shrines in the world. Explore Boudhanath Stupa, a massive Buddhist stupa and center of Tibetan culture. Visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, home to Hanuman Dhoka Palace and Kumari Ghar (Living Goddess Temple).
Drive to Swyambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), perched on a hilltop with panoramic views of the valley. Spend the afternoon exploring Thamel, Kathmandu’s vibrant shopping district. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 3: Drive to Chitwan
After breakfast, check out and drive to Chitwan (150 km, approx. 4-5 hours). Upon arrival, check in at your resort and receive a briefing about jungle activities.
After lunch, take a walking tour of a local Tharu village to learn about their culture and traditions. Overnight in Chitwan.
Day 4: Chitwan Jungle Activities
After breakfast, embark on a full day of jungle activities like Jungle Nature Walk: Discover the flora and fauna of Chitwan National Park. Bird Watching: Spot exotic birds in their natural habitat. Elephant Safari or Jeep Safari: Get a closer view of wildlife such as the one-horned rhinoceros and Bengal tiger.
Canoe Ride: Glide along the Rapti River and enjoy the serene surroundings. In the evening, enjoy a Tharu Cultural Dance Show. Overnight in Chitwan.
Day 5: Drive to Lumbini
After breakfast, check out and drive to Lumbini (165 km, approx. 5-6 hours). Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight in Lumbini.
Day 6: Lumbini & Kapilvastu Tour
After breakfast, explore the Lumbini Sacred Garden, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit Maya Devi Temple, Puskarini Pond, and the Ashoka Pillar. After lunch, drive to Kapilvastu, the ancient hometown of Lord Buddha, and explore its archaeological sites. Overnight in Lumbini.
Day 7: Drive to Pokhara via Tansen
After breakfast, check out and drive to Pokhara (approximately 200 km, taking about 6-7 hours). En route, visit Tansen, a charming hill town famous for its traditional Newari architecture and stunning panoramic views. After having lunch in Tansen, continue your scenic drive to Pokhara.
Check in at your hotel and spend the evening at leisure, enjoying the relaxed atmosphere of this beautiful lakeside city. Overnight in Pokhara.
Day 8: Sarangkot Sunrise & Pokhara City Tour
Early morning, drive to Sarangkot to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the Annapurna Himalayas. On the way back, visit Bindabasini Temple, an important Hindu shrine in Pokhara.
After breakfast, carry on with a full day of sightseeing in Pokhara, which includes World Peace Pagoda, a symbol of peace and harmony. Explore Pumdikot, known for its tall statue of Lord Shiva and stunning views of Pokhara Valley and Phewa Lake. Stop by Davis Falls, Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, and the Tibetan Refugee Camp. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing boat ride on Phewa Lake. Spend the evening exploring the vibrant Lakeside area of Pokhara, filled with shops, cafés, and local art. Overnight in Pokhara.
Day 9: Day Hike to Australian Camp/Dhampus
After breakfast, drive to Kande (approximately 1 hour). Begin your day hike to Australian Camp and Dhampus (4-5 hours). Enjoy breathtaking views of the Annapurna Range, including Fishtail Mountain (Machhapuchhre), Dhaulagiri, and Nilgiri.
Experience local village life and culture in Dhampus, interacting with the villagers and learning about their traditions. After a delicious lunch, trek down to Phedi and drive back to Pokhara. Overnight in Pokhara.
Day 10: Drive Back to Kathmandu
After breakfast, check out and drive back to Kathmandu (approx. 200 km, about 6-7 hours). Check in at your hotel and spend the remainder of the evening at leisure, potentially exploring more of the city or relaxing at the hotel.
In the evening, enjoy a traditional Nepalese cultural dinner with live dance performances at Bhojan Griha. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 11: Departure
After breakfast, enjoy some free time for last-minute shopping or relaxation in Kathmandu. Transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
